The concert hall of the music Academy was packed with people today. A large number of people participated in the concert held by the music Academy today and enjoyed DM Krishna's music concert.

Carnatic musician DM krishna performed at the chennai music Academy today. After almost 10 years, DM krishna performed at the madras Music Academy's Margazhi music Festival and mesmerized music lovers. The concert was also packed outside the hall. Those who could not get a seat in the hall enjoyed watching and listening to DM Krishna's concert on the tv screen placed in the lobby.

Every year, the madras music Academy organizes music concerts throughout the month of Margazhi. As this year's season has begun, DM krishna is conducting a music concert at the music Academy today. When DM krishna started the concert, the audience welcomed him with applause and when he concluded the concert, he said that he stood up and applauded. While a section of the chennai music Academy had opposed the announcement of the sangeetha Kalaanidhi Award to DM Krishna, it is considered significant that a large number of people gathered to listen to DM Krishna's music and singing at the music concert held today and supported him.

Musician DM krishna has been conducting Carnatic music programs emphasizing social ideas and religious harmony. For this, he was selected for the sangeetha Kalaanidhi Award given to musicians by the chennai music Academy this year. A controversy erupted in this regard a few months ago.

Carnatic music artists Ranjani and gayathri sisters wrote on their X page, "DM krishna has caused great damage to the Carnatic music world and has insulted the feelings of the Brahmin community. He is speaking in a way that is degrading to spirituality. DM krishna has put forward views praising Periyar, also known as E.V.Ra. It is dangerous to encourage people like T.M. Krishna, who admires Periyar. We will boycott this event by not attending it,” they announced.

Following that, a clash broke out on social media between the two sides. T.M. Krishna’s supporters criticized the protest as being motivated by hatred because of his progressive political stances and his constant talk of taking Carnatic music to the poor.
