What did Devendra Fadnavis say about the water problem?

BJP leader devendra fadnavis said on saturday that until we solve the water problem, we cannot stop farmers' suicides. fadnavis said this while addressing the national convention of the Bharatiya Jain Sangathan (BJS) in Pune. He said that maharashtra has always had a 50 percent water shortage and water conservation is the only thing that can solve this problem.

devendra fadnavis further said that in 2020, the central government had prepared a water level report which showed a very worrying situation. The water level had gone down in all the states of India, but maharashtra was the only state where the water level had increased.

During this, he praised the work of BJS and said, "I believe that the path to the five trillion economy that we have to create goes through you. But the important thing is that Lord Mahavir Ji gave us principles. The principles given by our Tirthankaras do not only involve taking, there is more about giving than taking. Jains have implemented it. That is why Jain society gives more than it earns."

Aamir Khan was also present in the program. devendra fadnavis said about the work of Pani Sangathan, "Some organization does some work. people get facilities but people do not know the importance. As the saying goes, if you teach someone to catch fish instead of feeding them, then they can eat fish all their life. Pani Sangathan created awareness among the people. No one will bring change in our lives from above, not only the government. We also have the power to change and this has been told by Pani Foundation and Bhartiya Sangathan."
