SP MP Afzal Ansari gets big relief, court acquits him

Samajwadi party mp afzal ansari got a big relief on Saturday. The CJM court acquitted the SP mp from Ghazipur seat. The court has acquitted him due to lack of evidence. The SP mp was accused of obstructing government work as well as damaging government property. The CJM court of Ghazipur on saturday acquitted afzal ansari in an old case. Actually, on 9 august 2001, during the state bandh program of SP, SP leaders had protested. In which the mp was accused that the then mla of Mohammadabad from SP and current Ghazipur mp afzal ansari reached the tehsil with a procession from the Mandi Samiti with four thousand people.

What was the allegation?

He reached the Mohammadabad SDM office and raised slogans. Other police officers including the then CO reached the spot and tried to stop him. But it is alleged that the protesters entered the SDM office and vandalized it while creating a ruckus. A case was registered against a total of nine people including afzal ansari in Mohammadabad Kotwali. After this, after investigation, the police sent a charge sheet against the then mla afzal ansari and supporters. The case against mp afzal ansari was being heard in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Swapan anand and on november 30, on the basis of lack of evidence, the court acquitted all the accused including mp Afzal Ansari.

During this, afzal ansari remained present in the court till the verdict was pronounced along with his lawyer Nand Kumar Singh, sunil Kumar and former block chief Lootur Rai. Expressing happiness over the court's decision, afzal ansari said that he has full faith in the justice system. Let us tell you that afzal ansari won the election on a BSP ticket in 2019. Whereas this time he has won the election on a SP ticket.
