Fadnavis To Serve As Maharashtra CM For Initial 2.5 Years, Then Shinder To Take Over in Later Half
Dainik bhaskar said on monday that bjp leader devendra fadnavis is expected to take over as Maharashtra's chief minister for the third time. The news agency received confirmation from a source in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh that a formula for power sharing between the shiv sena and the bjp had been finalized.
Bhaskar said fadnavis will be the chief minister for the first two and a half years, and Eknath Shinde will take over for the rest of the time. Fadnavis is anticipated to become the national head of the bjp after resigning as chief minister.
According to the report, this arrangement was decided upon following talks between PM Modi, the BJP's central leadership, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.
It is stated that Fadnavis's ability to keep the bjp and RSS in harmony had a role in choosing him as chief minister. Leaders like bjp general secretary Vinod Tawde or former state president chandrakant patil might take over as chief minister if he is promoted to the position of bjp national president before the end of his two-and-a-half-year tenure.
The story does, however, indicate that Shinde will not assume the CM's role before the two-and-a-half-year period that was agreed upon.
