Ramdas Athawale was demanding seats in Maharashtra!
In view of the maharashtra assembly elections, a strategy is being made by giving seats to other small parties besides the main parties included in the Mahayuti. bjp has given 4 assembly seats of maharashtra from its quota to its allies. The parties which have been given seats also include Union minister Ramdas Athawale's party RPI (A). Athawale's party republican party of india has been given 2 seats in the Mahayuti. Kalina assembly seat has been given from bjp quota and Dharavi assembly seat has been given from shiv sena quota.
Union minister and RPI (A) chief ramdas athawale was continuously demanding seats for his party. He was demanding five-six seats but bjp has announced one seat and Shinde faction's shiv sena has announced one seat. Athawale had also met bjp leader and deputy cm devendra fadnavis regarding the demand for seats. Along with this, he handed over a list to maharashtra bjp Chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule.

On the request of bjp maharashtra state unit, National President jagat prakash nadda decided to give seats to allies from his party's quota. The small parties which have been given seats include yuva Swabhiman party, Rashtriya Samaj Paksha, Jan Surajya shakti Paksha and Ramdas Athawale's party RPI (A).
