Fake Chemical Paneer detected in a factory
Accordingly an undercover reporter has conducted an investigation that has revealed the truth about fake paneer being manufactured and distributed to delhi and Noida. The investigation has also revealed the harmful chemicals used in its production. The reporter, equipped with a secret camera, visited the areas where chemicals were used to prepare paneer. The team uncovered locations where sweets were prepared not from milk, but from substances that can prove harmful to one’s health.Perhaps the team began investigating complaints about adulteration of food products. Early in the investigation, the reporter received some confidential information from Bulandshahr. Following this lead, the reporter launched a sting operation and visited the factory producing adulterated paneer. It was noticed that the factory was filled with filth with flies buzzing around. However the unhygienic conditions were not the only problem. It was found that this factory produced paneer in which dangerous chemicals were used in its ingredients.Moreover it was also found out that the paneer was not made from milk, but second-grade milk powder, harmful chemicals and poor quality soybean. Fake paneer priced at Rs 300 to Rs 400 per kg is widely sold in delhi and Noida. However, even if one avoids buying paneer, this particular factory is known to supply paneer at numerous dhabas, restaurants, and street food stalls. If one comes to the harmful chemicals used in production of this paneer, it should be mentioned that to make the paneer appear white, paint intended for walls were added. Benzosulfamide, a chemical that adds sweetness, is also added in making fake paneer. Benzosulfamide, however, is considered safe for human consumption.
