VVS Laxman appointed as head coach of the Indian team!?
VVS Laxman has been appointed as the head coach of the indian team for the T20I series against South Africa. After the Test series against New Zealand, india will play a four-match T20I series against south africa on november 8. While the indian team for this has been announced recently, there are now reports that VVS Laxman has been appointed as the coach of the indian team for this series. Head Coach gautham Gambhir will focus on the 5-match Test series against Australia. As a result, information has come out from the bcci side that VVS Laxman has been appointed as the coach for the south africa series.
The first T20I is scheduled to begin in Durban on november 8. For this, the indian men's cricket team is going to south africa in early November. The remaining three matches are scheduled for november 10, 13, and 15 in Kebarha, Centurion, and johannesburg respectively. Sairaj Bahudule, Hrishikesh Kanitkar, and Subadeep Ghosh have reportedly been appointed as additional coaches for the series. VVS Laxman has been serving as the President of NCA in Bengaluru since 2021. Dravid also coached the indian team.
