Jigra, which was co-produced by karan johar and alia bhatt and directed by Vasan Bala, is having a terrible time at the box office. By selling the internet and satellite rights, the movie has just about made up its ₹90 Cr production costs. Recognizing the difficult circumstances, director Vasan bala has stepped out to accept full responsibility for the film's failure.

Despite the fact that the producers have been nothing but encouraging to him, he stated he feels bad for disappointing them. He went on to say that managing such a popular enterprise requires one to be prepared for such hazards. Vasan Bala, who accepted full responsibility for the mistake, also underlined the need of being open to suggestions and helpful criticism.

Bala also recognized the increased attention that comes with collaborating with a well-known performer like alia Bhatt. He expressed optimism about upcoming possibilities and hoped that the skills he acquired from Jigra will help him the next time. Despite having a ₹90 Cr budget, "Jigra" only grossed ₹22.45 Cr in its first week of release, according to trade reports. Additionally, reports state that the movie's internet and satellite rights sales allowed it to recoup its production expenses.
