About 20 to 30 years ago, it was typical for an LGBTQ movie to become embroiled in controversy. Now that things have changed, people are gradually beginning to accept them. Nonetheless, some people in society continue to reject such ideas. indian film has made an effort throughout the years to depict the LGBTQ notion without making audiences uncomfortable.

We've seen a number of instances, such as shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, another good 2020 popular movie about two guys who battled society to acknowledge their love. The idea was portrayed in a different way in dream girl 2, which came out last year. Notably, controversy is no longer a major concern for filmmakers when it comes to bringing LGBTQ issues to the big screen. The supreme court of India's legalization of homosexuality in May 2018 is the cause.

Similar themes were explored in Mammootty's Kaathal - The Core, where the main heroine was married and ultimately had to overcome her anxiety to come out. Despite the decriminalization of homosexuality in 2018, Hansal Mehta's 2015 film aligarh explored a related subject based on actual events involving a real-life individual. The message has not yet been effectively communicated to society, despite the fact that filmmakers have successfully brought the LGBTQ issue to the big screen. Only when the scripts concentrate on this community's difficulties will this be feasible.

Most of the time, two guys fall in love and have to persuade their families and neighbors to accept their partnership. Aside from this, however, there are several other LGBTQ concerns that require investigation.
