High powers are awarded legally to the
telangana government’s latest phenomenon, the
hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency (HYDRAA). Jishnudev Verma, the
governor of
telangana, has given his approval to the HYDRAA ordinance that the state
government proposed. A few days ago, the
raj bhavan published a notice in the gazette on the same.
The ordinance's ratification gives HYDRAA "officially" complete authority to defend the resources of the state

hyderabad municipal corporation (GHMC). On July 19, 2024, the state
government introduced GO 99, HYDRAA, to combat illegal structures built on flood-prone land (FTL) and buffer zones around lakes and other bodies of water in the Outer Ring Road (ORR) region, which is under the districts of
hyderabad,
medchal Malkajgiri, and Rangareddy.
Since then, HYDRAA has destroyed a number of buildings next to lakes and sent warnings to a number of additional homes and buildings. At first, the
governor expressed some reservations about the government's proposed HYDRAA ordinance. Following Commissioner Dana Kishore's explanation for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the
governor gave HYDRAA official status. We may anticipate more shift activities by HYDRAA against the unlawful encroachments on lakes and other water bodies in and around
hyderabad now that the organization has earned authority.
