Andhra and Telangana Floods: Nandamuri Mohana Krishna Donates ₹25 Lakh
Recent heavy rains have led to severe flooding in various parts of andhra pradesh, making life incredibly challenging for residents. The overflow of the Budameru River in vijayawada has affected many nearby areas, including guntur and ntr districts, leaving people of all ages struggling for basic necessities like food and clean water. Tragically, some have lost their lives due to the flooding.
In response to this crisis, many prominent figures from the entertainment industry, as well as businessmen and politicians, have stepped forward to offer financial assistance. The film sector alone has donated over ₹20 crore, with several young actors and actresses rallying support through donations of food, clothing, and other essentials.
Among those contributing is Nandamuri Mohana Krishna, who recently presented a cheque of ₹25 lakh to andhra pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. Mohana Krishna, an actor and politician and the heir of former chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, was joined by his daughter, Nandamuri Mohan Rupa. Both have a history of assisting those in need and actively campaigned for the telugu desam party (TDP) in recent elections.
Additionally, mahesh babu made headlines by donating ₹50 lakh to telangana chief minister A. revanth reddy for flood relief efforts. The actor met with the chief minister to present the donation to the relief fund.
