You can order from the Tarkari Mart app sitting at home through mobile. It has been claimed that vegetables will be given at cheap prices from the vegetable market. You just have to order from home and the vegetable will be packed in a carry bag and delivered to your home. Shopping has also started from this app. If you buy vegetables up to Rs 250, then there is also a facility of free delivery.

This initiative has been taken by the cooperative. Tirhut Vegetable Association has been formed under the Primary Vegetable Society under the bihar State Vegetable Edition and Marketing Scheme. Its area of operation is in eight districts of bihar, east Champaran, West Champaran, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj, Chapra and Siwan. So far 16930 vegetable producers have taken membership in these eight districts. Online delivery will start soon in the remaining districts as well.

The Tirhut Vegetable Association is preparing to provide training to these farmers in potato-tomato farming. This year a target has been set to train about three thousand farmers. Training will be given by the Center of Excellence (Nalanda). Let us tell you that Tirhut Vegetable Association is a cooperative society whose objective is to benefit vegetable producing farmers and also to provide vegetables to the common people at simple and cheap rates.

Tirhut Vegetable Association Chairman amit Shukla said that many works are being done in the interest of farmers so that the vegetables do not get wasted, they do not have to go to the market and keeping in mind the problems of the farmers. Tirhut Vegetable Association is purchasing from the farmers and providing them to the common people. If tomatoes are spoiled, they are bought at Rs 4 per kg and then sent to the processing plant. Farmers also benefit.
