AIMIM chief asaduddin owaisi has targeted the Archaeological survey of india (ASI) over the recent video of taj mahal that went viral on social media. Owaisi wrote on social media platform X, 'The Archaeological survey of india earns hundreds of crores of rupees from the taj mahal, but one of the biggest symbols of indian culture is treated like this. ASI argues that Waqf monuments should be brought under it so that it can maintain them. This is like someone applying for PhD after failing in 10th class.' asaduddin owaisi also shared a link to Firstpost along with his post. In this link, it is being claimed that the main dome of the taj mahal has been damaged after heavy rains. After the rain, the garden of the taj mahal is also seen filled with water. However, investigations are being conducted continuously to find out how this water filled.

What did the Urs Committee Chairman say?

Urs Committee Chairman Syed Ibrahim Zaidi talked to the media on this issue. He said, 'It has been raining continuously for several days and on thursday (September 12), water leaked from the roof around the main dome. There was a crack on the roof and water was coming from that crack. Although ASI maintains the taj mahal, sometimes negligence happens. Perhaps it was not taken care of. Despite the rain for several days, the cracks were not filled and that is why water was coming down.'

What did ASI officials say?

A senior ASI official said in a conversation with the media that water leaked from the dome due to heavy rain in Agra. After investigation, it was found that the main dome has not suffered any damage. This water reached down due to the leakage. Apart from this, the dome has also been checked with a drone camera.' Let us tell you that on thursday, a video went viral on social media, in which it was claimed that water is dripping from the dome of the Taj Mahal. After this video, many opposition leaders also became aggressive and targeted the central government. Many users also expressed their displeasure over this viral video.
