Semiconductor Park to Be Established on 1,000 Acres Near Jewar International Airport
A transformative new initiative is set to take place in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, with the development of a semiconductor park. The yamuna Authority has given the green light for this major project, which will be situated on a sprawling 1,000-acre plot near the Jewar international Airport.
This semiconductor park is anticipated to be a significant catalyst for local economic growth and technological advancement. By creating numerous job opportunities and fostering technological innovation, the park aims to elevate the region’s development prospects while also contributing to the nation’s technological progress.
The yamuna Authority has designated Sector 10 for this ambitious project. Land acquisition is already underway, with plans to negotiate and purchase land from farmers to ensure a smooth process. The development will involve collaboration with a leading company to establish essential infrastructure, including roads, electricity, sewer systems, and water supply.
In addition to industrial infrastructure, the project will also feature residential facilities for employees and their families, along with large parks, schools, and markets to support a high quality of life.
The semiconductor park is expected to attract both domestic and international investments totaling approximately Rs 2 lakh crore, creating thousands of job opportunities. The Uttar Pradesh government has officially endorsed the project, and the yamuna Authority is actively promoting it through a dedicated campaign.
