Following his death, many social media users have been drawn to his last instagram post, which he shared in May to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Vikas Sethi’s wife, Jhanvi Sethi, provided details about his passing to PTI. She explained that they were in Nashik for a family event when he began experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. Despite his discomfort, he resisted going to the hospital, so they called a doctor to their home.
“After we reached my mother’s house in Nashik, he continued to vomit and had loose motions. He didn’t want to go to the hospital, so we asked the doctor to come to us,” she recounted. When she checked on him around 6 am on sunday, he had already passed away. “The doctor informed us that he had died in his sleep due to a cardiac arrest,” she said. His body has been sent to Cooper Hospital in mumbai for a post-mortem examination.
