The three IGs on the team—M. ravi Prakash, PhD Ramakrishna, and GVG Ashokkumar—have been assigned to handle the issue since the state government is taking this seriously. The two accused pupils' computers and cellphones have been taken by the authorities, along with the electronic equipment of two other lads. The Wi-Fi routers at the hostel are also being examined by the CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team). In the event that covert cameras were deployed, the network user would have uploaded the video over WiFi. The people who supplied the mobile hotspots and who utilized them are being investigated by the CERT and C-DoT (Centre for Development of Telematics) teams.

A student at the same college named Vijay (names altered) was having an affair with another student. Vijay is a girl-baiter. They developed a daily routine of making naked video calls, but Vijay surreptitiously taped them without his girlfriend's knowledge. Vijay's pal once spotted the girls' naked films on Vijay's phone. After that, Vijay told another acquaintance about this knowledge.
A student approached Vijay after learning about the girl's one-sided passion. Reluctant to tell the truth, Vijay's girlfriend attempted to frighten everyone by implying that there were other people involved as well. As the situation worsened, dorm students began talking about it among themselves, and before long, the issue spread across the institution. The team of CERT and C-DoT professionals examined every Wi-Fi router at the college after conducting a comprehensive investigation, but they were unable to find any proof. Within the following two to three days, the police department is supposed to deliver the whole report to the government.
