Dengue havoc in Indore! 12 people infected in 24 hours…

Heavy rains continue in Madhya Pradesh. dengue has started spreading rapidly in indore, one of the cleanest cities in the state and the country. 12 new cases of dengue have been reported here in the last 24 hours. The administration was in a panic after getting the news of this. During this time, a patient has also died of dengue in indore, which is the first death due to dengue this year. The health department has confirmed a total of 298 dengue cases so far. Due to the rapid spread of this disease, the concern of the administration as well as the common people has increased. Especially in Palda area of indore where a 16-year-old student died of dengue. The health department and the local administration have taken all the necessary steps with immediate effect to control the situation. The health department has intensified relief and rescue operations in view of the increasing number of dengue cases.

dengue effect seen in July and august too

Earlier in July and august too, dengue havoc was seen in Indore. In indore division, 338 cases of mosquito-borne diseases dengue and malaria were registered till August. Surprisingly, 251 of these dengue cases were found in indore alone, which is 74 percent in all the districts of indore division.

In the month of July too, 90 cases of dengue were reported in Indore. During this time, 50 cases were reported in just one day in July. In which 91 men and 69 women were found infected with dengue, apart from this, dengue outbreak has also been seen on 13 children. The health department has emphadata-sized on dealing with the waterlogging situation along with awareness campaign for effective prevention of dengue.

Precaution and prevention in dengue is effective

Most mosquito-borne diseases thrive in water, while dengue mosquitoes breed in clean water. It generally depends on the people to prevent waterlogging and wear full sleeve clothes to avoid the disease and spray medicines at the places where mosquitoes breed. Before the onset of monsoon this time in indore, the district health department had issued an advisory regarding dengue. In this advisory, people were made aware that caution is the most effective way to deal with dengue.
