While azerbaijan is buying fighter planes from pakistan, two powerful missiles will be purchased from turkey for these planes. azerbaijan will get air-to-air missile 'Merlin IR' and beyond visual range air-to-air (BVRAAM) 'Peregrine' missile from turkey, information of which has been given by Turkey's Century magazine by posting on social media platform X.
The missiles received from turkey will be deployed on JF-17C Block-3 Thunder fighter planes. The fighter planes will also be equipped with Turkey's advanced avionics. Turkey's missiles are obviously going to increase Azerbaijan's air capability. Actually, pakistan and Turkey's focus is on strengthening their defense cooperation. With the cooperation of these two, Azerbaijan's defense sector will also be strengthened now.
