Horrifying Online Harassment of 'Wednesday' Actress - Deletes X Account

It is difficult to keep up when you are growing up in the limelight. Daniel Radcliffe was the first celebrity we witnessed maturing before our very eyes; we watched him go from being eight years old to a fully fledged adult. Jenna Ortega, who grew up in the spotlight, is another example. She recently talked about her experience with artificial intelligence (AI) in light of her next film, which is an adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro's novel Klara and the sun in which she portrays the title robot.

She claims that she canceled her X account because she despises artificial intelligence. Ortega claims, "I detest AI because—let's data-face it—it has the potential to be utilized for amazing things. I believe I recently saw an article claiming that breast cancer may be identified by artificial intelligence four years before it became further advanced. That is really lovely. That's all we'll say. Did I like viewing soiled, childishly photoshopped photos of myself when I was 14 and creating a X account because I was required to? No. It's horrifying. It is dishonest. It is incorrect.

She came across several horrifying events involving AI and social media in general. When she was twelve years old, she opened her first direct message and it showed a man's genitalia, which naturally frightened her out. She received AI-generated sexual images of herself when the wednesday buzz got a bit out of hand, and that's what finally convinced her to cancel her X account. The actor, 21, had recently entered adulthood and was uneasy about social media because of all these negative pictures. On the other hand, it should be illegal to use artificial intelligence to modify photos in pornographic content.
