The general secretary of the party, Bussy anand, has submitted a petition to the office of Superintendent of police, Villupuram, seeking permission for the convention of Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam. A petition has been filed in the Villupuram Superintendent of police office seeking permission for the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam conference. In that petition, the party's general secretary Bussi anand has given a petition to the police asking for permission to hold the first conference of the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam next month on september 23 at Vikravandi next to V. Road in Villupuram district and requesting security.
Actor Vijay started a new party called Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam last February, and on august 22, the party's flag was introduced and the party's song was released. The program was held at the headquarters of Davegaon in Panaiyur, Chennai. The work of selecting the place for the conference was going on in order to show the strength of the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam by holding a big conference in the central part of tamil Nadu in which about 75 lakh people can gather.
A petition has been filed on behalf of the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam for permission to hold the event in Vikravandi of Villupuram district after many places have been chosen.
