He said that the incident took place late friday night when Dinesh Swami and Jitendra Swami of Swami Basti were traveling on a scooty.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of police (North-II) Bajrang Singh said that their scooty collided with an e-rickshaw in Shastri nagar area, leading to a clash between Dinesh and the rickshaw driver. He said that after the incident both the drivers went to their respective homes but after reaching home, Dinesh's condition deteriorated and he died.
police officer Singh said that there were three people in the e-rickshaw and one of them has been arrested, who has been identified as Shahrukh, while efforts are on to nab the other two. Meanwhile, after the death of the man, the local people gathered outside the Shastri nagar police station and started demanding the arrest of the accused. The police have assured quick action in the matter.
