Paris olympics 2024 Closing Ceremony Highlights: The 33rd edition of the Summer olympics Games, held in the French capital City of paris came to a conclusion on the 11th of August, Sunday.
The event organised to mark the culmination of the sporting extravaganza witnessed the Mayor of paris, hand over the games to Los Angeles, the venue of the subsequent iteration of the olympic games in the year 2028.
The quadrennial event held in the Parisian region witnessed multiple records broken and the theme for the closing ceremony has been aptly named ‘Records’.
Unlike the opening ceremony of paris 2024, which was held outside the confines of the stadium as the national contingents paraded along the Seine River on boats, the closing ceremony took place at the Stade de france in a more recognisable format.
