Tamil Nadu scientist Veera Muthuvel ,Scientist Puraskar Award !
P Veeramuthuvel was born on 22 december 1978 in Viluppuram, tamil Nadu, India. He attended the railway school in Villupuram and earned a diploma in mechanical engineering from Ezhumalai Polytechnic College, Villupuram.Veeramuthuvel, who is 46 years old, is currently the Chandrayaan-3 mission's project director under Somanath's direction. Hailing from a little family in tamil Nadu's Villupuram district, Ph.D. holder Veeramuthuvel is a former student of the renowned indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He takes over for Vanitha, who was in charge of the Chandrayaan-2 mission under the direction of the then-ISRO Chief K Sivan.
33 people, including Chandrayaan-3 project team scientists, have been announced with the Rashtriya Scientist Puraskar award by the central government.
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully lands Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the South Pole of the Moon. india also became the first country to set foot on the South Pole of the Moon.
