The contentious marketing approach of the ajay devgn and tabu film Auron Main Kahan Dum Tha has garnered media attention. bollywood insiders and industry experts have attacked the movie's marketing strategy, claiming that it is insufficient given the competitive state of the film industry today. Co-producer Shreyansh Hirawat, who has worked on Shivaay, Freddy, and Maarrich, defends the unorthodox strategy in spite of the commotion.
 
AMKDT rescheduled its august 2 release date in order to avoid conflicting with Kalki's movie, giving both movies a clean window of opportunity. The marketplace anticipates that this movie will debut for between two and three crores.

 
With successes such Drishyam 2 and Shaitaan, ajay devgn is one of the few star heroes who has maintained a steady presence at the box office in the post-pandemic period. He has a strong track record with tabu, having worked on films such as Drishyam, De De Pyaar De, and Vijaypath.
