The amaravati capital region's development was put on hold until the tdp took power in Andhra Pradesh. The capital city would be constructed in a planned, staged way, as chief minister chandrababu naidu pledged. tdp leaders are stepping up in the meantime to contribute directly to Amaravati's building. Kalisetty Appalanaidu, the vizianagaram MP, recently gave the capital city his first month's pay.

In Delhi, Appalanaidu gave chandrababu naidu a cheque for Rs. 1.57 lakh, which represented his first month's pay. On this occasion, other tdp MPs were also in attendance. Appalnaidu's honourable deed was acknowledged by Chandrababu Naidu. In the meanwhile, many who saw this news are also applauding Appalanaidu for his gesture—especially considering that he is a humble man. Appalanaidu began his professional life as a journalist. Some twenty years ago, he became a member of the telugu Desam Party. He had previously chaired Ponduru's market committee.

Afterwards, he educated thousands of cadres while serving as the director of the tdp North Andhra (Uttarandhra) training facility in Vizianagaram. He received the vizianagaram MP ticket for the 2024 elections after the party expressed its admiration for his devotion to it. Appalanaidu secured a commanding majority of 2,49,351 votes to win the election.
