Will return to power in Telangana for 15 yrs says KCR

On Tuesday, July 2, K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), a former chief minister of telangana and leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), declared that the BRS will retake power and rule for a further fifteen years. kcr said that the party will get stronger in the upcoming days while speaking to MLAs and the chairmen of his Zilla Parishad.

Amidst defections in the BRS, KCR's meeting with party officials becomes greater significance. Since the congress won the telangana Assembly elections last year, six of the 39 MLAs in the BRS have already defected to the ruling party. During his farm house meeting in Erravelli village, kcr allegedly informed party leaders that the telangana congress government aims to remove him from office. Asking sarcastically if telangana itself can be eliminated (because he spearheaded the campaign for statehood from 2009 to 2014).

The former telangana chief minister said the congress had a tendency to act "irrationally" when in power and then suffer backlash from the populace. Additionally, he assured the chairpersons of the Zilla Parishads that the BRS will provide greater chances for women in politics and that the winner will be the one who receives the B-form this time. Additionally, kcr declared that he will shortly finish forming committees inside the party at all levels.
