In the state of telangana, numerous reforms have been introduced since revanth reddy became the Chief Minister. A notable effort is being made to remove the influence of kcr, the first chief minister of telangana, by renaming schemes, number plates, and districts that bear his name. revanth reddy is determined to make these changes and is also working on altering the symbol of telangana to eliminate any traces of KCR.

revanth reddy has demonstrated his distinct governance style by changing Telangana's state anthem and is making efforts to feature the Kakatiya Kala Torana more prominently. He is also making decisions to remove the charminar symbol from Telangana's identity and is initiating the process of canceling several state districts.

Currently, telangana has 33 districts. revanth reddy is planning to reduce this number by canceling about 10 to 15 districts. kcr initially created these 33 districts to facilitate quicker governance, but revanth reddy aims to remove KCR's legacy by canceling and renaming these districts. For instance, an announcement has already been made to change mulugu district to Sammakka Saralamma mulugu district.

Despite coming to power with the promise of implementing six guarantees, revanth reddy has focused on renaming and removing KCR’s influence instead. Unemployment remains unaddressed, and pensions are not being disbursed properly. While increased pensions were promised to start from the first month of the new government, revanth reddy has been in power for seven months, and these increases have yet to be implemented. Consequently, revanth reddy is facing opposition from the public within just six months of his tenure.
