Renowned filmmaker shankar is getting ready for the release of indian 2, his next picture, which takes theatres nationwide next week. In a recent promotional interview, shankar discussed his predictions for future big releases as well as his opinions on Prabhas' upcoming film kalki 2898 AD.

He recalled seeing "Kalki 2898 AD" and gave it high marks for being an accurate portrayal of indian cinema's pride. He recalls forecasting three months prior that kalki would undoubtedly cross the one billion rupee mark, and he thinks the project is headed in the right direction. shankar further expressed hope that, like kalki, subsequent major films like Kanguva, pushpa 2, and Coolie will be as successful and a source of pride for indian cinema.

Supporters pointed out that he left his own movie, Game Changer, starring ram charan, off of the list of films that are predicted to gross over one billion rupees. Some fans are wondering what to anticipate from Shankar's film and whether he has faith in it after this exclusion. Although several people noticed that he omitted indian 2, it's possible that he did so to avoid coming out as prejudiced or to promote himself. It's interesting to note that shankar mostly refrained from talking about his collaboration with ram charan on Game Changer.
