Chief minister A revanth reddy said that passbooks, not ration cards, will be used to identify recipients of the crop loan waiver program and that the State government will release rules for its implementation in four days.

Revanth told reporters in New delhi on friday that the State budget will be presented two days following the Union budget's introduction in Parliament. He claimed to have advised the authorities to create budget projections that take into account the actual circumstances rather than the "illusionary" forecasts created under the BRS administration.

He said that his team of ministers had previously met with union ministers once to discuss cash still owed to the State and that the Centre had been informed of the State's needs before the union budget to obtain the greatest amount of funding for the State.
He said that the programs that burdened the State's coffers the most, such as the crop loan waiver, would be executed first, and then Rythu Bharosa, crop insurance, and other programs. Saying that it was incorrect to refer to social programs as "freebies," he believed that the underprivileged should be the ones who gain from them, not the affluent.

"People are questioning us when we are implementing welfare schemes for farmers, women, and the poor, but they didn't question the Centre when the Modi government waived the debts of corporate companies worth Rs 16 lakh crore," he questioned.

He added that the State government was still paying Rs 7,000 crore in interest each month on the Rs 7 lakh crore debt that had accrued during the BRS administration's term. He stated that the State administration has been negotiating with the Centre to lower the interest rates, noting that the BRS government had obtained loans at interest rates ranging from 7 to 10%.

Additionally, he stated that the bc census will be conducted after the current Commission's term expires in august and that a commission for new revenue divisions and mandals will be formed shortly.

Speaking on TGSRTC's financial situation, revanth stated that occupancy in rtc buses has gone from 30% to 80% as a result of the State's implementation of free bus travel for women. According to him, the company was receiving a monthly payment of Rs 350 crore from the State government, which had reduced its operating expenses and enabled it to turn a profit.
