After receiving a blow to the face from another guy, a 59-year-old Indian-American man passed away in Oklahoma. On
june 22, at about ten o'clock at night, the
police were summoned to a hotel parking lot close to Meridian Avenue and Interstate 40.
hemant Mistry, the victim's name, was given by the
media to be the hotel manager. Gujarati national Mistry was ordered to leave the premises by the accused, 41-year-old
richard Lewis, who then attacked him.
Authorities informed the regional press. Mistry took a punch and lost consciousness. After being brought to a hospital, he passed away on
june 23 at about 7:40 p.m. Lewis was subsequently apprehended after being discovered in a motel in the 1900 block of S. Meridian Avenue. On
june 24, he was being detained at the Oklahoma County jail on an aggravated assault and battery charge, with a $100,000 bail.
The reason the suspect was requested to leave the premises, but he refused to, Oklahoma City
police informed the reporters.
