PM Modi likely to visit Varanasi for farmers' conference on June 18

On june 18, prime minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to speak at a "kisan sammelan" (farmers' meeting) in varanasi, his Uttar Pradesh parliamentary seat, according to sources. The prime minister may be making his first trip to varanasi after he took the oath of office for a record-breaking third time on Sunday.
 
The farmers' convention would either be held in the Sevapuri assembly constituency or in Rohania, according to local bjp leaders. At the party headquarters in Gulab Bagh, officials from the district and metropolitan levels convened to discuss PM Modi's impending visitation to Varanasi.

Preparations have started for PM Modi's one-day visit to the temple town, during which he is anticipated to take part in the ganga aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat, according to bjp Kashi area president dilip Patel.
 
According to Patel, all bjp employees have been urged to get ready for PM Modi's lavish welcome in Varanasi. Additionally, he mentioned that the process of delegating tasks to party workers for the farmers' meeting had started.
 
In the 2024 lok sabha elections, PM Modi beat Congressman ajay Rai by a margin of more than 1.5 lakh votes, retaining his varanasi seat for a third time in a row.
