With a whopping $3.7 million on the first day of premiere, its thursday premieres brought in over $1.8 million, setting a record for any indian film. kalki 2898 AD is currently the talk of the town since it has begun bookings on an exceptionally high note. Notably, despite having only a few locations and no official bookings yet, it's the first indian movie to make over $500K in North America.
There is an incredible amount of anticipation with over 10,000 tickets sold in over 260 venues, over 1000 shows, and only 19 days left until the premieres.
