Houses of two YSRCP leaders attacked - Jagan seeks Gov Intervention

On Friday, suspected telugu desam party (TDP) supporters broke into the homes of two ysr congress party (YSRCP) leaders. Meanwhile, departing chief minister Y.S. jagan Mohan reddy pleaded with the governor to step in and put an end to post-counting violence against his party members.  
 
In the krishna district, young groups assaulted the homes of former mla Vallabhaneni vamsi and minister Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani).
 
The attackers threw stones at the vamsi family's vijayawada home. They attempted to break into the home and destroyed two automobiles that were parked in front of it. A few of the assailants got into the car and challenged vamsi to get out. police stepped in to keep things from getting out of control.

The members of the tdp were yelling abuse at vamsi and threatening to kill him. They were demonstrating against some previous comments made by vamsi against Bhuvaneswari, the wife of tdp President N. Chandrababu Naidu.
 
In the gannavaram assembly constituency, vamsi was defeated. He ran for the same seat in 2019 as a tdp candidate and won, although he eventually joined the YSRCP.
 
Additionally, the purported tdp supporters attempted to storm Nani's home in gudivada town.
 
Images of miscreants hurling eggs at Nani's house while police officers watch are making the rounds on social media. A few of them attempted to storm into the house as well.
 
In the most recent election, nani was also defeated from the gudivada assembly seat.
 

Police increased patrols and tightened security at YSRCP officials' homes in the wake of the assaults.
 
The YSRCP said that tdp personnel had been attacking its leaders and workers ever since the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP combination emerged victorious in the elections. In the meantime, jagan Mohan reddy has called on the governor to step in and put an end to attacks on his YSRCP leaders and followers, claiming that the state's constitutional structure has disintegrated. He said that Naidu's "political vendetta" was the reason democracy was in danger.
 

He said that tdp members were attacking YSRCP leaders and workers. He declared that candidates running for office within the YSRCP were not protected.
 
Ahead of his june 12 oath of office as chief minister, chandrababu naidu has advised tdp cadres to exercise caution over the YSRCP's post-election assaults and provocations. He stressed that even if the YSRCP guys use provocation, the tdp workers should show total restraint. He asked police to take action to keep the calm and the law in order.
