Heavy and brief rains along with strong thunderstorms battered hyderabad on thursday, leaving several areas of the city severely flooded. Rainfall caused traffic disruptions as cars made their way through the flooded roadways. Heavy rainfall was observed by residents of LB Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Hayathnagar, Madhapur, Beeramguda, Quthbullapur, Kompally, Koti, Abids, Secunderabad, Khairtabad, Banjara Hills, Yousufguda, Ameerpet, Jubilee Hills, Serilingampally, and Madhapur.
The IMD-Hyderabad reports that a high temperature of 34.9 degrees Celsius—a decrease of 1.2 degrees Celsius from Wednesday—and a relative humidity of 75% were noted.
