The indian Meteorological Department (IMD), in New Delhi, acknowledged on monday that the southwest monsoon has reached numerous districts of telangana State, indicating that the rainy season had arrived in telangana earlier than anticipated.

Though the indian Meteorological Department stated that the southwest monsoon "advanced into some parts of Central Arabian sea, some parts of Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal AP, some parts of telangana and some of the parts of Westcentral and Northwest Bay of bengal today, the 3rd of june," the southwest monsoon is typically associated with the second half of june in Telangana.

The maximum daytime temperatures in hyderabad and other telangana districts varied significantly as a result of the rapid shift in weather patterns.

The highest temperature in hyderabad was around 41 degrees Celsius on Sunday, but by monday, it had dropped to 32 degrees Celsius during the day—a 9-degree decrease in only one day.

In its 5-day prediction released on monday, the IMD-Hyderabad predicted that most of Telangana's districts will get a substantial quantity of rain in the upcoming days.

It issued a yellow notice, indicating that nearly every district in telangana is expected to experience extensive thundershowers along with rain, lightning, and strong gusts. According to Hyderabad-based experts who monitor the movement of clouds that carry rain, telangana is expected to experience the southwest monsoon between june 8 and june 10.
