Gautam adani, the founder and chairman of the adani Group, has supplanted mukesh Ambani, the chairman of reliance Industries Limited (RIL), as the richest person in Asia and India. As per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Ambani has a net worth of USD 109 billion, whilst Adani's is now valued at USD 111 billion. Even if there is just a USD 2 billion difference in their net worth, Adani's fortune is growing quickly because of a spike in the shares of his group firms.
