Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt's daughter files to drop Pitt from her name

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's eldest biological daughter, is said to have submitted legal paperwork to remove the surname 'Pitt' from her name. Shiloh turned 18 on May 27, and the news came shortly after that.

According to people close to the matter, Shiloh submitted the petition on her birthday, suggesting a great desire to make this move as soon as she reached adulthood. This relocation has aroused suspicion regarding the cause behind it, with some stories implying a troubled relationship between Shiloh and her father.

Jolie and Pitt's breakup in 2016 was widely known, and custody issues for their six children have been a source of difficulty for several years. Although a judge granted shared custody in 2021, subsequent events indicate a probable schism between Shiloh and Brad Pitt.

Shiloh is not the only one of Jolie and Pitt's children who has distanced themselves from the Pitt moniker. Their daughter Zahara went by the name 'Zahara Marley Jolie' when she joined Spelman College's sorority.

According to TMZ, their other 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne, has likewise avoided using Pitt's last name. She was solely mentioned as Vivienne Jolie on a playbill for Angelina's Broadway show, where she had just worked as a PA.
