Arvind kejriwal, delhi Chief minister, said he will visit mahatma Gandhi's tomb at Rajghat and the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place before submitting to tihar jail officials on Sunday.

The AAP supremo is expected to go to tihar jail about 3 p.m., after his three-week interim release in the delhi liquor policy case expired on june 1. A delhi court also postponed its decision on Kejriwal's request for interim relief due to medical reasons until june 5. kejriwal also stated that he plans to visit the AAP office on Delhi's DDU Marg and speak with party members.

The delhi Chief minister expressed gratitude to the supreme court for granting him a 21-day interim release to campaign in the lok sabha elections.

"First, I'll go to Rajghat to pay tribute to mahatma Gandhi." From there, I'll head to the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place to ask Hanuman's blessings. From there, I'll head to the party office and meet with all of the workers and party officials. kejriwal tweeted, "From there, I'll leave again for Tihar."

Before surrendering, kejriwal had a meeting of the AAP's political affairs committee at his home on Saturday, followed by a meeting of the opposition india group.

During the meeting at the Chief Minister's house, kejriwal emphasised the need of maintaining unity among AAP leaders in his absence, according to PTI sources.

The gathering occurred as exit polls suggested that the bjp would sweep the national capital in the lok sabha elections. The india Today-Axis My india exit poll forecast 6-7 seats for the bjp and 0-1 for the AAP-Congress coalition in Delhi.

Last Monday, the AAP leader asked the supreme court for a seven-day extension of interim bail on medical grounds. kejriwal said he needed time to undergo testing since he was losing weight and had high ketone levels.

However, the supreme court registry declined to expedite his plea.
