Following the conclusion of seven phases of voting in general elections, the Mega Exit Poll issued on saturday evening predicted that the india bloc will win a landslide of seats in the tamil Nadu lok sabha elections of 2024, with a total of 36–39 seats. The bharatiya janata party (BJP) is expected to win one to three seats in tamil Nadu, according to the Mega Exit Poll. The national democratic alliance (NDA) is likely to finish in the same range. The congress may win eight or ten seats in the state, but Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), an ally of the indian bloc, is expected to carry out the majority of the alliance's work. In tamil Nadu, the india alliance may secure 36–39 seats. With 0–2 seats predicted for the opposition AIAMDK by the News18 Exit Poll, the party may be in danger.

It is also expected that puducherry, a nearby Union Territory, will support the Congress. The single lok sabha seat in puducherry had a voting percentage of 77.86%. This contest is between congress MP v Vaithilingam, who is running for a second term, and bjp candidate A Namassivayam.

One of the most talked-about states in this election was tamil Nadu, where the BJP-led nda, the AIADMK, and the india alliance, which includes the DMK, congress, and other parties, were in a three-way contest. In the state, 72.09% of voters participated in the one-phase lok sabha elections on april 19. The state recorded 72.44% of polling in 2019. With 75.67% of the vote, Kallakurichi in northern tamil Nadu had the highest voting percentage, while Central chennai had the lowest, at 67.35%.

71.17% of voters cast ballots in Coimbatore, where bjp state president K annamalai is up against three contenders: Ganapathy Rajkumar of the DMK, Singai G Ramachandran of the AIADMK, and Kalamani Jaganathan of Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK). 67.82% of voters responded in South chennai, where bjp candidate tamilisai soundararajan is making an attempt. Her principal opponents are J Jayavardhan of AIADMK and Tamizachi Thangapandian of DMK. With 75.44% of the vote, Dharmapuri had the second-highest polling. The leading candidates in this race are PMK's Sowmiya Anbumani, AIADMK's R Asokan, DMK's A Mani, and nda ally.
