Telangana Hyderabad records 41°C on Friday - Relief in form of 'Rains' from Tomorrow

According to the IMD-Hyderabad prediction, people in hyderabad and surrounding areas may expect respite in the shape of heavy showers on sunday after another day of intense heat with temperatures regularly hanging between 40 and 47 degrees Celsius.
 
The city's highest temperature on friday was 41 degrees Celsius, according to the IMD-Hyderabad. According to telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) statistics, temperatures in the city ranged from 40 to 43 degrees Celsius. Musheerabad, Himayatnagar, Khairatabad, and Marredpally had the maximum temperatures at 43 degrees Celsius, while secunderabad and Amberpet had 42.9 degrees Celsius.

In telangana, temperatures soared above 47 degree Celsius, with peddapalli and mancherial reaching 47.1 degree C. bhadradri Kothagudem and khammam closely followed at 46.9 degree Celsius and 46.9 degree Celsius. Around 15 districts in the state recorded temperatures over 45 degree Celsius.
The indian Meteorological Department (IMD) hyderabad noted that the highest maximum temperature in the past two weeks was recorded at adilabad on May 27, reaching 44.8°C.

Forecast by IMD:

IMD hyderabad has issued a yellow notice for telangana for four days, beginning tomorrow. A heavy rainfall signal has been issued for the whole state on Sunday.
 
Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 km/h) are expected in isolated areas across various districts, including Nalgonda, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal.
 
Looking forward, light to moderate rain with thundershowers is forecast in early June, with total rainfall likely to be above normal for the opening week of the month.
