Mr. And Mrs. mahi, a sports drama produced by dharma productions and Zed Studios and starring rajkummar rao and Janhvi Kapoor, has gotten a massive reaction in advance ticket sales. It sold over 2,05,000 tickets on its opening day across national chains (PVR-Inox + Cinepolis).
This feat represents the biggest ticket sales for any movie in 2024 thus far, outselling major movies such as Hrithik Roshan's fighter (1,45,000) and article 370 (1,25,000) by a wide proportion. Mr. and Mrs. mahi have surpassed Mahesh Babu's "Guntur Kaaram," which held the record for the most tickets sold in india on the first day with 1,60,000 tickets.
