As the much-anticipated arrival of the monsoon approaches, temperatures in hyderabad remained extremely high on Thursday, hitting a maximum of nearly 41 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in all regions of the city were between 40 and 43 degrees Celsius, making inhabitants uncomfortable. uppal once again led the way with a sweltering 43.3 degrees Celsius, followed by Balanagar, Amberpet, and kukatpally at 43 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures reached dangerous levels in Telangana, with around 15 of the state's 33 districts classified as red zones due to mercury levels above 45 degrees Celsius. mancherial and bhadradri Kothagudem districts had exceptionally harsh weather, with temperatures topping 47 degrees Celsius (47.2 and 47.1 degrees Celsius, respectively).
According to the indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in hyderabad, the dry weather and high temperatures are expected to continue across Telangana, including hyderabad, till june 1. However, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon: IMD predicts light to moderate showers in scattered regions across the state after june 1, providing much-needed relief from the persistent warmth.
