SIBY JEYYA
K. Chandrashekar Rao, the head of BRS, declared that if given the opportunity, he would run for prime minister. In advance of the state's lok sabha elections this afternoon, he hosted a news conference. During the meeting, kcr expressed his desire to run for PM chair if given the opportunity. He added that following Keshava Rao's departure, senior leader Suresh reddy will now represent BRS in Delhi.

In the meanwhile, kcr predicted that BRS will probably win 12–14 telangana seats. The bjp would win one or none, he said. congress, he said, would be ranked third out of nine constituencies. According to kcr, the bjp will barely secure 200 seats in the Lok Sabha. He predicted that the country's administration will be formed by a coalition of regional parties, with BRS having a significant influence.

Conversely, for the last few months, telangana has been abuzz with talk about the phone-tapping incident. It was claimed that, with the assistance of police officers, the old BRS administration bugged the phones of prominent figures in the state. kcr has been silent on the matter for several days. He has denied involvement in this affair as of late. One of the main suspects in the case, former DCP Radha Kishan Rao, said that kcr was the one who planned the phone-tapping incident.

KCR said he doesn't know Radha Kishan Rao in response to questions on these claims made during the press conference. He stated that a chief minister does not have to be familiar with every DCP that works in the state. It is the Chief Minister's responsibility to hear the reports from the intelligence community. The cm receives a daily briefing from the intelligence agency outlining the state's security issues, according to KCR. He continued by saying that the cops are the only ones who tap phones in accordance with the central home secretary's orders. He urged the public and media to reject the baseless accusations made by the congress administration.
