In a warning to electors, chief minister Y.S. jagan Mohan reddy stated on sunday that supporting opposition candidate Nara chandrababu naidu would be "a perilous act of putting one's head in a tiger's mouth." The head of the YSRC used colorful metaphors, comparing supporting Naidu to rousing the legendary monster chandramukhi from indian movies.

Encouraged by his Memanta Siddham bus yatra, the president of the ruling party launched his second phase of campaign on sunday from Tadipatri in the Anantapur district, reiterating his call for the party to follow its 2024 plan. Afterward, the chief minister took part in open demonstrations in the seats of venkatagiri and Kandukur.

Speaking to tense audiences, jagan Mohan reddy said that the YSRC administration has fulfilled the commitments outlined in its 2019 manifesto, calling it a "holy book." He presented the impending elections as a critical decision between the opposition regime's deconstruction of his government's revolutionary welfare agenda and its continuation.

"Electing MPs and MLAs is not the purpose of this election. It comes down to choosing whether to extend the life-changing programs for the impoverished for a further five years or to let them fade away. If you confirm that you still believe in YSRC, our plans will go on as usual. But if you fall for Chandrababu's false promises, be ready for these projects' premature end, the YSRC chairman said.

He said that the TD leader was like a chandramukhi, repeating unrealistic promises to drink the blood of the poor. He reminded everyone that the "Super 6" promises made by the TD-Jana Sena-BJP combination will be broken in 2024, just as they were in 2014. On the other hand, he asserted, his administration has personally transferred over ₹2.7 lakh crore to recipients through 130 different sorts of welfare payments, seeing its 2019 campaign pledges as inviolable.
