Telangana Hyderabad - Intense heatwave to grip as Orange Alert Issued

For the next seven days, telangana is expected to experience a severe heatwave with highs of 41 to 45 degrees Celsius. The majority of the State's temperatures on sunday remained over 45 degrees Celsius. A heatwave warning has been issued by the india Meteorological Department (IMD) in hyderabad for april 29 and 30, and extreme heatwave conditions have been indicated by an orange alert for May 1. It is predicted that the intense heat would last until May 4.
 

The forecast by IMD hyderabad on monday stated, “Heat wave condition likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagityal, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, mulugu, bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthi, Narayanpet, jogulamba gadwal districts of Telangana.” Despite the intense heat, isolated scattered rains are forecasted for april 29 and 30 across the State, offering some temporary respite from the blistering temperatures.

However, hyderabad is expected to see a little respite during this time, with temperatures expected to hover around 36 to 40 degrees Celsius. The city's temperature on sunday was 41.8 degrees Celsius.
