With temperatures predicted to reach 43 degrees Celsius and bring a dry spell to the state, the india Meteorological Department has issued a yellow notice for a heat wave for Telangana. This prompted the state government to issue health advice, warning citizens about the dos and don'ts.

In an official announcement on Friday, the telangana health department stated that in response to the heatwave alert, people should refrain from going outside in the sun, particularly between noon and three o'clock in the afternoon. Additionally, the agency advised the public to abstain from drinking alcohol, tea, coffee, carbonated soft drinks, and beverages with high sugar content because they might trigger stomach cramps or increase fluid loss in the body.

The government has put complex plans in place at all public health institutions, including specific beds, IV fluids, and necessary medications, as a preventative step. To handle any emergencies, ORS sachets are provided with ANMs, ASHAs, and Anganwadi workers, according to the statement.

According to the IMD, isolated areas in the telangana districts of Jogulamba Gadwal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, and Narayanpet are expected to experience heatwave conditions on Saturday.
