Will BRS Learn their Lesson at least now?

SIBY JEYYA
Within a day, BRS had to cope with a huge shock when two of its top leaders, k keshava rao and Kadiyam Srihari, declared they were leaving the party and joined the congress party in front of chief minister Revanth Reddy. Kavya, the daughter of Kadiyam Srihari, resigned from her nomination as a BRS warangal candidate and sent a letter to kcr in which she said that the party's reputation had been damaged by accusations of corruption, land grabbing, phone tapping, and liquor scams.

In every party meeting, kcr showed respect solely to kk, the leader. Keshava Rao declared that he will be attending congress in the same manner that we return home after a pilgrimage.

KK became the party's general secretary and a two-time member of the Rajya Sabha. His son served as the head of the company, while his daughter was appointed mayor of GHMC. The BRS appointed Kadiyam srihari as deputy chief minister in addition to making him an mp and MLC. A warangal mp seat was granted to his daughter. Shell-shocked by this outcome, BRS leaders and supporters claim these leaders betrayed the party that has given them everything. BRS supporters may say anything they want, based on their experience in BRS and their quick departure from the party following the defeat. Then, though, is whether they have the moral authority to hold them accountable.

Over his whole career as a congressman, kk received more benefits from the Grand Old party than from KCR. He was appointed PCC President in 2005. He was appointed to the congress Working Committee in 2009. He was tasked with supervising party affairs in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, and the andaman and Nicobar Islands.

During his three tenures as a cabinet minister in the former andhra pradesh, he oversaw the labor, industry, and education ministries, among other important ministries. He was elected from the graduate seat two times and held the position of deputy chairman of the andhra pradesh Legislative Council in the past. He was also head of the Minimum Wages Board and the rajiv gandhi Technology Mission, and he was a cabinet member. Rao was elected to the rajya sabha in 2006–12.

Kadiyam Srihari, who was in the tdp before to joining the BRS, had a similar situation. Six tdp tickets were offered to him by Station Ghanpur, and he won three of them. In the ministries of chandrababu naidu and NT Ramarao, he held the position of Minister. Srihari, who comes from a low-income family, said in an interview that chandrababu naidu provided financial support for his daughter's education and marriage.

It is clear how both of the leaders joined BRS after leaving their parties. It is not shocking that they leave BRS, with whom they have no ideological affiliation, since they can do it to the political parties where they were born. It is fate that kcr is paying the price for taking defections to the worst extent in telugu politics.
