Hyderabad's gold prices are trending upward, and on thursday they saw the second-highest increase of the year. Market sources state that the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased significantly to Rs 67,310. This rate, which was recorded between march 29, 2023, and march 28, 2024, is the second-highest ever, suggesting that the price of precious metals has increased significantly.

The pricing for 24-carat gold per 10 grams reached Rs 67,420 on march 21, which was the highest point in the previous year and the pinnacle of gold prices for the year. Concurrently, Hyderabad's 22-carat gold prices are trending upward, in line with the general bullishness of the gold market. On the other hand, the city's silver prices are trending downward. The price of 10 grams of silver was Rs 805 on thursday, suggesting that the metal's value has decreased.

Due to significant demand for safe haven assets, predictions of a U.S. interest rate decrease, and central bank purchases, gold prices surged on thursday and were poised to record their best month in more than a year. As of 10:20 a.m. EDT (1420 GMT), spot gold had risen 0.5% to $2,204.99 per ounce, aiming for its best month since november 2022, when it had gained around 8% as far, as well as a second consecutive quarterly increase. US gold futures increased by 0.7% to $2,204.80.
