OSCARS 2024 - John Cena gives Best Costume Design Award in his 'Birthday Dress'
When john Cena presented the Best Costume Award, the Oscars 2024 event took an unexpected turn. jimmy Kimmel teased that Cena would be presenting the award in his underwear at the event in a now-viral video. Cena didn't seem to be comfortable going without clothing, either. He was finally coerced into leaving the wings to deliver the Oscars 2024 by host Kimmel, despite his best efforts to persuade him otherwise.
Using the envelope containing the Best Costume winner, Cena concealed his modesty. The video went to the nominations after introducing the category. Kimmel put a thick curtain over him. After expressing relief over the cover-up, Cena gave Poor Things the Best Costume award. Everyone in the room and on the internet was in splits with the wild moment. Margot Robbie was seen laughing her heart out when Cena walked on stage.
From the corner of the stage, Cena peeked his head out and told Kimmel he didn’t want to “do the streaker bit anymore.”
“It’s an elegant event. Honestly, you should feel ashamed right now for suggesting such a tasteless idea,” Cena complained. “The male body is not a joke!”
Kimmel argued that Cena, who is also a famed WWE wrestler, wrestles in the nude. “Dude, I don’t wrestle naked,” Cena said. “I wrestle in jorts!”
“Jorts are worse than naked!” Kimmel said as the audience laughed.
