The State government has been urged by the telangana State Private degree and PG Colleges Management Association to disburse the fee reimbursement arrears for the academic years 2020–21, 2021–22, and 2022–23 promptly. In addition to examining the current degree Online Services, telangana (DOST) for admissions into degree programs, the recently established association requested that the government adjust the cost of degree programs to reflect standards, wages, and college upkeep costs.
Association president and general secretary Dr. B Suryanarayana reddy and general secretary Y ramakrishna vehemently opposed the AICTE's decision to bring BBA and BCA programs under its purview, and they demanded that the government take immediate action to keep the BBA and BCA programs' approval process and management under the control of the respective State universities.
The working president of the association A Parameshwar asked that the government order universities to give five-year affiliations to institutions that have completed ten years of affiliation and permanent affiliations to colleges with permanent buildings. In addition to providing discounts, the degree colleges requested that the government establish a distinct tax bracket for educational institutions to collect property taxes and power bills. The association asked for a quick review of degree program fees and DOST admissions.
